Weekly lessons during school terms following the public school term dates for your state.
Lessons are not conducted on public holidays in your state.
Fees
Your lesson fees work like a monthly subscription, automatically charged on the 1st of each month via your credit/debit card.
We like to keep things simple, so your monthly fee stays the same, no matter how many lessons occur in a given month. Whether it's two lessons or five, you pay the consistent rate.
Our lesson fees are $209 per month. This amount is based on an average of 40 piano lessons per year. However, we charge for 38 lessons annually, giving you a little wiggle room for a few absences that may pop up.
Missed Lessons
Two absences per year at no cost are calculated into your monthly lesson fees so that your family has some flexibility (as mentioned above).
Other than these two absences calculated into your fees please note that further missed lessons are forfeited and we don't offer makeup lessons or rescheduled lessons.
If your child can’t make a lesson we ask that you mark them as absent in the student portal so that their teacher is notified - you can do this right up until the time of your child’s lesson. Please don’t notify us of absences via email.
If you’re going away on holiday, because our lessons are online, your child is still welcome to have their piano lesson! Even if it’s simply a theory lesson and they bring their theory book with them.
DiscontiNUING Lessons
Lessons are a month-to-month commitment.
If you want to pause or discontinue piano lessons please notify us by the 14th of the month.
As much notice as possible is appreciated!
Students will continue to receive lessons they have already paid for until the end of the month.
Unfortunately refunds cannot be issued.
Our Lessons Are Recorded
We record our lessons for training purposes, to monitor students' progress and to provide you with videos of your child’s musical milestones (if you’ve opted into receiving these).
These recordings will be shared with the account holder only, via your child’s Dropbox account (more information to come regarding using the free version of Dropbox).
Teacher Training
We are very serious about offering our students the best music education experience possible and other teachers from our team may observe your child’s live lesson on occasion alongside their normal teacher.
